What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Fine needles are inserted into the body to change how the body functions.

Acupuncture is perhaps best known for musculoskeletal issues and pain. But it can also bring the functioning of the body into balance through the hormonal and nervous systems. These systems govern your body’s daily processes, and imbalance causes many common health issues, such as stress, headaches, insomnia, digestive problems, and fatigue. I am particularly interested in the impact of acupuncture on these systems and how it can help you to manage your health conditions.
